Southern Highland Open Gardens

The Southern Highlands of NSW is rated very highly for its gardens ranging from small cottage gardens to large European influenced formal gardens. The Highlands was also chosen as part of Monty Don’s British and international TV series “Around The World In Eighty Gardens”, which showcases the top 80 gardens internationally. Tulip Time, in spring, is when most gardens are open for viewing. You can also simply drive around and you’ll discover lots more not open to the public but you can still look.

Tulip Time

Tulip Time, one of Australia’s oldest and best loved floral festivals continues to grow as the region’s largest event.
